[more...] 23 September 2008 - Community Songs of Praise for Harvest A chance to join others, come along and sing your favourite hymns! St. John's Church in Egham has a real treat for those who love hearing and singing great songs and hymns of praise. Community Songs of Praise is taking place on Tuesday 23rd September 2008 at 2pm in the church on Manor Farm Lane, Egham. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the hymns. Tea and cakes will be served afterwards. Betty Wheeler, one of the Community Songs of Praise organisers says: “Our Community Songs of Praise is a wonderful event. We have the most beautiful and easily accessible church building, which we want people to enjoy whilst also joining with others in song, not forgetting the social time of tea and cakes we have afterwards!
